Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! No matter what kind of weather Andrei and Diana would have had on their wedding day, I am absolutely certain that nothing could have wiped the smiles off their faces. On their December 26th wedding, Andrei and Diana took a stroll through Victoria park followed by a photo shoot at Kitchener City Hall. Together with the falling snowflakes, these two were falling for each other all over again every time their eyes met. What a great treat it was for us to film these two lovebirds. God bless you guys.
We had such an awesome time shooting Cornel and Claudia’s love story! Not only are they two amazing people with big BIG hearts, they also happen to be two of our best friends. The weekend we spent in the states shooting their love story was one of the best weekends ever… seriously… that’s how fun they are!
Instead of the traditional picture slideshow during their wedding reception (the big day was June 13, 2009), Cornel and Claudia had their love story shown, which was fully AWESOME! Thanks for letting us shoot your love story, you guys. Have a beautiful time growing old together!
A priceless day! I must say that in capturing Gabe and Dora on their wedding day, the highlight HAD to be the look on Gabe’s face during the bridal reveal. His expression was absolutely beyond words, which is why I’m not going to try and explain it. Luckily we managed to capture the reveal outdoors just before it started pouring cats and dogs. But not to worry, the stylish limos looked even sleeker when wet.
Because of the rain, the photo session was indoors at Kitchener City Hall, which is somewhere I’ve never filmed before. But I found it to be a nice challenge (btw, the asian umbrellas were an awesome touch to photos and filming).
Despite a rainy wedding day, I predict lovely days to come for Gabe and Dora with plenty of blue skies. Good luck, you two!
Wow, what troopers! We had the honour of being with Marcel and Bianca the WHOLE day of their wedding, and they were smiling all the way through! I’m not sure who had more fun, us or them! We were thrilled to work with this couple who knew how to have fun and were totally comfortable around each other. After five years of dating, I suppose that’s a benefit well reaped!
My favorite place for shooting with Marcel and Bianca had to be Mill Park. The amphitheater is an explosion of character- cobble stones, river side, stone wall- which looks amazing on screen. Also, working with children instead of the traditional bridesmaids and groomsmen was an added twist to the day… you never know what adorable (or horrible) thing kids are gonna do next! Luckily these kids were miniature troopers alongside the bride and groom- they were a delight to work with.
Marcel and Bianca, your wedding day was beautiful. You two deserved the best wedding, and you got it!
As Valentine’s Day flowers are wilting, Easter decor is popping up and mounds of snow are finally getting smaller (I can finally see my neighbour’s house across the street!), I know this can only mean one thing… Wedding season is just around the corner! And we all know what that means: we shall all be very broke very soon. Just kidding (kind of).
Seriously though, I am definitely looking forward to meeting the couples who’s weddings I’ll be doing this year. It’s always a pleasant challenge creating a wedding video that matches the pace, style and genre of a couple. This season, I hope to introduce what some may call a trademark of STT studios. Whereas some videographers promise to be ‘invisible’ on the wedding day, I plan on having an intentional, staged segment for each couple on their wedding day. If a photo shoot is a must for every bride and groom, why not have a quick video shoot to capture the couple in action on their wedding day. The staged video will undoubtedly be a highlight on any couple’s wedding video.
That being said, the construction of our new site is currently underway. Sample videos will be available as soon as the new site it up and running in early March as soon as possible. Until then, we shall remain cozy in this current site.
